I am so excited that Fall has started! Some of my favorite Fall things include anything pumpkin spice, cozying up indoors on a cool autumn day, leaves changing colors, Thanksgiving, and of course wearing leopard print. I love adding a little pop of leopard to any Fall outfit. Today I’m sharing 3 ways I style leopard.
Spin on a Classic
Pair a classic LBD with a knotted leopard headband to instantly elevate your look. My headband comes in a set of 3 but this headband is another great option.
Adding a blazer to an outfit always boosts my confidence. Now adding a leopard blazer just totally changes the game. The blazer I have on is on sale plus an extra 50% off. I sized up for a more oversized look.
The perfect way to look cute, yet still be comfy, is to add a fun pair of sneakers. The sneakers I have on are from last season but I linked a ton of other super cute, similar styles.
Homecoming for my high school was on Saturday and it was so much fun! At my school freshman aren’t allowed to go to any dances so this was my first ever formal dance (we had a welcome dance in the beginning of the year that was just casual)! I’m sharing with y’all my whole homecoming experience, from buying my dress to the morning after the dance.
The Dress + Accessories
I actually bought my dress over summer because I didn’t want to deal with the stress of trying to find a dress right before the dance. The dress I got ended up being the only dress I even tried on. I mean the hot pink combined with the ruffle, it was just love at first sight! I paired my dress with gold scalloped heels and gold hoops with a pearl floating in each earring. Last but not least, I got these super cute sneakers to change into for the dance. I love the rose gold accents on the classic white sneaker.
On Friday, I got my nails done at VIP Nails Salon and Spa in RSM. Jenny did such an great job on my french manicure! I then headed off to dinner and then the football game. On Saturday, I got my makeup done at Nordstrom in Mission Viejo with Sarah Zaret who is amazing! She used my favorite lip gloss, the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer, in 007 Raspberry (I had previously only used 001 Pink). My blush is Rosy Glow Petal Awakening Blush by Dior. This blush adjust to your skins chemistry to create the look of naturally flushed, rosy cheeks. For my eyebrows she used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer. She also used a primer by Laura Mercier (not sure which exact one) as well as the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer SPF 20 (I’ve been using this product for over a year and I really love it). I love the way my whole makeup look turned out!
Pictures, Bus, and Dinner
Our group (there were about 30 of us) decided to take pictures in San Juan by the train tracks. We then hopped on the party bus and headed to dinner at Riptide Rockin’ Sushi & Teppan Grills. After that we were off to the dance.
After the Dance
After the dance, my girlfriends and I were not ready to end the fun so we headed over to my house. We put on our pj’s, ate mini bean and cheese burritos, chips and salsa, and petite sea salt brownies (from TJ’s), and all just talked. It was the perfect end to a perfect day. The next morning we all slept in and then had a breakfast of chocolate chip pancakes, sausage, fruit, and spiced apple cider (because you know… Fall!).
If you’ve already had your homecoming then I hope you had fun and if your homecoming is coming up soon then I hope you have a great time!
